I’ve done a bunch of train the trainer courses throughout my training career and none were as cool as Ron. Ron as an instructor is not only a weary of knowledge but he is so humble. Instead of drowning us with war stories and his achievements he hit us with his mistakes he’s made and how he grew and how his mentors got him to where he is today. This course was great. It was taught in a way where you start with the fundamentals and progress to more advance techniques “crawl, walk, run”. I came out this training a more confident shooter which help me be a better instructor. I am so lucky to have attended this course and met the individuals that also attended. I hope to be able to attend more courses that Ron teaches in the future. Ron thank you and stay blessed my friend.

I’ve trained with Ron several different times.. He is an exceptional instructor! He’s a great communicator and teacher. The training consists of techniques, applications, and explanations of why and how. Ron stays current and up to date and constantly trains and continues his education to better serve those he trains.. I highly recommend CDT for any firearms related training … you will not be sorry

After about 21 years in LE and a firearms instructor for most, Ron has been a “go to” for our area to train the trainer. His knowledge is second to none, he compassion for getting better and experience make learning from him very enjoyable. Great instructor with a good personality bringing a vast mount of experience and training to the range. He will come down to your level and elevate you higher.

Ron puts a lot of realistic effort into his programs. He challenges you to train for what will likely happen and leaves the statistical anomalies to the side. He has the ability to make you a better shooter and make you chuckle while doing it. Great course, great guy.

I have been in the Nuke Security field now for 7 years and have been to alot of differnt instructors around the country. Ron is definitely one of the best. My business partner and I have now been to 2 of Rons courses and drove 9 hours to get to the last one! It was definitely worth the drive. He has given us information and tips on how to improve our training and the training of others in our area. Ron is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he teaches and it shows.

Ron gave an excellent class on the Red Dot Optic for Handguns. He is full of knowledge and experience. Before, during and after every drill he would give hints, tips and tricks on how to improve and excel. I would highly recommend taking a course with him.
